Best place to buy furniture and appliances

yttocs

Now that I have a place, I need to buy some appliances and furniture. I'm pretty set on TNH Co. for the appliances, but how about furniture ̣(bamboo preferred)?

Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi,
You should go Nguyen Kim electrical and home application.
About furniture, you should go Chilai or Hoang Anh Gia Lai furniture shop

You may want to check out the sale of displayed products, which can help you to cut down the cost by around 40% to 50%. Electrolux and Cholon recently had such offer advertised on local newspapers.

After dealing with a lot of different places, here are my recommendations:

For furniture:
For mattresses (free pillows)
For appliances: (free grill and other stuff)

Does anybody know a good company that will come out give a free estimate for blinds? In the US, it's normal practice to come out, measure the windows and give a free estimate. I don't know what the practice is in Vietnam.

Thanks for all the help.

There are many shops on Ly Thai To St. specialized in curtains and blinds. They' would come to your place to measure and estimate.

I second @charmavietnam, Ngô Gia Tự  the furniture street for furniture Vietnamese buy.  Also along the river road Phạm Thế Hiển in D8, less shops but probably even cheaper.

For expensive western furniture, that is a different question.

If getting curtains set the expectations on the quality. Zero defects or flaws in the material. Quality has a whole different understanding in Vietnam.

Good Luck
