Looking for accompany to Christmas and Year End events

nancy.nguyenmy

Hi friends,

My previous topic was removed because the mod thought that I was promoting events (actually I didn't)

I re-post this one because I and my other friends really were looking for some more pals to go to the events together; and I don't want others who already read my previous post think that I'm a scammer or such.

Anyway, there are some cool events on Christmas and Year End theme next month and we are looking for some more friends to join us. If you are interested, please feel free to leave a message, I will share more details later :)

Hi  all,

I just moved in Nha Trang for 2 weeks now and plan to live and work here for more than a year, maybe a couple of years. Therefore, I would love to make more friends and build relationships. Anybody know if there is any networking events or places in town?

Cheers,

My.

Sorry your plans for staying in Nha Trang a couple of years didn't pan out.  Must have been tough moving to Nha Trang then moving to HCMC.  All in a two-month period.

What cool events are you planning to go to that you want Expats to accompany you?  I don't think you'll have problems finding Expats to join you for Christmas and New Years.  Just go to the backpacker's area - there are plenty.

@Tran Hung Dao: yes, it WAS tough. Anyway, are you interested in the events? I'll inbox you more details.

@bluenz: Sorry, I didnt get what you mean by quoting my post without saying anything. Do you want me to send you more details about the events?

No Thanks about the details,  , I try to avoid going to Sai Gon.

Hey THD,
Don't be so harsh on the girl.
It's great fun in thick, standstill traffic in the city centre on the night of Xmas Eve.
You get a really, really long look at the decorations and the smoke clouds from 10'000 motorbikes on idle make the street lights look like winter Sapa fog.

And the backpacker area is great on New Years Eve.Lots of extremely drunk tourists (quite a few who like to play boxing games together) crowding every square inch of the street.
And the hordes of cute kids/teens who run around 'borrowing' things from tourists pockets and bags is a joy to watch.

What's not to enjoy??

Why am I not surprised at your reply, you are just another example of many of your generation, ( not just in VN ), it's all about you, the me, me, me generation, stuff anyone else,, no respect, loyalty and very few manners, ( if any, your parents must be very proud of you, but then they are  probably cut from the same cloth ). But never thinking about the future and what the silly things you say and do now, will greatly affect your lives later, ( if some of you ever live long enough to see a ' later ' )
  Go Fakebook!!!!!!
