living in District 8 - what's your opinion?

Hi guys,

Any of you are living or has lived in district 8?

I have found accommodation 100m from Binh Hung market and the house seems nice and with good facilities. I can't find any description on the net regarding safety, shops, restaurants or general demographics of this area.

What is you experience regarding living in district 8?

Before you put money down on any rental unit, do yourslf a big favour.

Visit it in the morning and evening rush hours and late at night and a Saturday night.

What appears to be a quite place in the daytime might turn into an echo chamber for some noisy bar or karaoke joint. Seen it happen so many places!

Flooding, or lack of, is very important. My flood map is back in the office but you can ask neighbours and businesses - NOT the landlord!
