I haven't done it personally, but I know of at least one person who did that by first going into one of the large Viettel stores and asking them for their recommendation.

Turned out it was a place directly next door to the Viettel store, probably associated somehow but not allowed to market & sell under the same roof.

Good luck with your search.

In Saigon back in 2019, my GF bought a "like new" reconditioned at this major retailer, . Came with one year warranty, in original box with fold-out literature inside. It had, we were told by the sales rep, been fitted with a new screen and a new back. It looked perfectly mint. Less than 3 million, which at the time I believe was less than 1/2 price from new.

Seems there's other places where it is, as a reconditioned phone, .

If you want to go much cheaper, any of the small one-off phone repair shops will have used phones for sale, though they will not be reconditioned to like new. I had an acquaintance up in Thai Nguyen who repaired phones, and he had literally dozens of used phones for sale. A lot of people brought him their phone for repair, not returning later to pick them up (or pay their repair bill).

Oh no! Logical in Việt Nam?

Then I'm almost certainly wrong... 😉

I think one old place on Ä. Huỳnh Thúc Kháng still has one of these available...

@MarkinNam Seem chotot.vn is a good choice. You can find the price, then setup a meeting to review directly from owner.

I bought a used Samsung from someone on Cho Tot. No problems yet.

I am stuck buying used phones because I HATE the new phones with the narrow aspect ratios. A wider screen is much more versatile and enjoyable. But my 6 year old MiMax just developed a line of dead pixels :(
