Atheist Volunteer Organization

I'm wondering if there is an atheist community in Ho Chi Minh that does any volunteer work. (Admin, if this is antithetical to forum guidelines, please feel free to close this topic.)

To my knowledge, all charities here are either 1. government-run, 2. religious (primarily Christian and Buddhist) 3. secular with no faith affinity (but not atheist)

The lion's share of them would fall under the second category, my former church included. the closest you could undergo would be #3.

The nearest thing you would have to atheist volunteerism would be party led-initiatives, which are mostly mandated student programs and only intended for Vietnamese. Although I think most Vietnamese are at least nominal Buddhists irregardless. Unless you are of Vietnamese citizenship/ethnicity you would not be able to join.

Thanks for that information! Cheers
