I tried to post this earlier, and it somehow got mysteriously immediately Closed, before i could get any answers/suugestion. Expat have yet to explain that.@stumpy tried to tell me to use Classifieds; but Classifieds are manifestly NOT suitable for Business Opportunities.To elucidate, I mean it SHOULD/COULD be a suitable place - BUT THERE IS NO SUCH CATEGORY (or anything that would be at all suitable). Note that the Business Category within Classified is totally different and is for businesss advertising their business!!!So how/where do i post this 'Business Opportunity? Can anyone suggest or have some ideas? If this Topic is just 'Closed' again, i will just post on FB and/or other oulets.(Just gives me another reason not to use this Forum.) - @expat97

Unfortunately this forum (built on a blog shell that is not really open to modification) doesn't have a specific area for entrepreneurs.

In defense of the website, we are all basically anonymous on here and there doesn't seem to be any plans in the works to increase our ability to have our identities verified.

So I'm just guessing on this but, based upon how this particular website is very careful about scammers, they have probably decided that the particular subject isn't one that they want to sponsor here, especially since there are other websites where such interaction can freely happen.

There are some restrictions about what you can post in a general new thread, but I would encourage you to maybe create a new topic using the "networking" or "banking and finance" subjects from the drop down list.

Give a basic outline of your idea and invite people to contact you using the private message function.

You will probably receive a lot of messages from those scammers I mentioned but perhaps someone genuine will connect with you and you can exchange private contact information.

I use Facebook groups a lot and I fail to see how you're going to have any better results there, but good luck anyway.

One website that might be useful to you, even though it requires a monthly payment in order to use it effectively (and also requires identity verification) is internations

When I lived in Hanoi I was very active on that site and there were always some pop-up meetings going on for entrepreneurs, investors and the like.

This isn't really a business site, but it does have a business section.

However, that's not aimed at 'opportunities'.

People with actual opportunities tend to go to sites dedicated to such things, or they network in the old fashioned way.

In your case, were you trying to promote your business, or are you looking for a business opportunity, such as buying a restaurant etc? Could you please provide more details so I can assist you more effectively?

We have two different sections related to businesses:

Classifieds Section: Here, you can post an advertisement if you are selling or looking to buy a business. There is also a category for those seeking business partners.

Business Directory: This is where you can register your existing business for free.
