Interesting information. I buy 1 ticket for 100 baht but according to the site it should be 2 tickets for 80 baht.

You just need to go back to the buying place and get your prize. If it’s a large amount then different you need to go to the main office in Bangkok. Everyone can get the prize! Thaï & Foreigner.

Why are all vendors now charging 100 baht and upwards for 80 baht lottery tickets .I can't find anywhere I can buy for 80 baht .

JOHNMELL

The extra 20 baht is the so called commission, that the vendors charge.
I presume they dont get paid by the lottery people for selling the tickets.

Never done that

In our area price is 80-90-100 and i dont have problems with that.

Small winnings we got from the any place we going out to on the day, No need to go back to same place as you buy the ticket.

For a bigger price, Dont use the Banks, They take to much.
Go directly to the "The Government Lottery Office".

Wife friend won 400.000 Baht not long ago, So she was shopping around to find the best place to do it, She only pay 30 baht, 2 Times 15 Baht, As she won 200.000 Baht 2 times that time.

Kindly.

Pay the price thats shown on the ticket , the vendor gets a percentage of that.   Like most things in Thailand foreigners are expected to pay more so the vendor adds their on "tip" on top of the price .
You  are not required to pay this unless of course you want to .

There is no official commission, it's just a rip-off.  Thai authorities have been trying to stop it for years, but as everyone knows, "this is Thailand".

What you mean by go back to buying place? The vendors, they walk around, and will they even pay you the prize when they cant even fend for themselves?

Please explain how to collect winnings?
