Most tilers I have used recently don’t want day rate and just want to quote a lump sum. Unfortunately most of the construction related trades seem to be trying to make back all the money they didn’t make during covid all in this year! Best advice I can give is to ask for a price from at least 3 tilers and try and see an example of their work
