Hi,

I have worked in Singapore for 3 years over at Hyundai engineering and Construction company, Pasir Panjang PSA gate 3 inside Reclamation project.

I have resigned to work After 3 years 3 month, then come back to my country, stay in my country over then 3 month after I'm getting IPA from another company when I reached changi airport & fillup immigration form then submit to officer the Ica officer take me to one room then after 2/3 our came back to me & told me, u can't go to Singapore for some paperwork missing, so u have to go back ur country correction ur paper then come again, I ask him can u please tell me what kind of paper missing? Office told me I don't know u have to ask ur agent, but that time I don't have phone, so I can't talk to my agent.

When I come back to home country then ask to my agent told me they're also don't know the problem.

After that incident until now IPA rejecte from mom, but never mentioned anything.

So how could solve this problem.

Can u please help me regarding this聽 matter.

I really cannot understand why people prefer to apply through agents - they rarely help and often screw things up, like in this case! (Did you even pay the agent - which is illegal under Singapore law?)

Instead, you should contact your employer. If they still want to hire you, they can proceed further. If not, look for another job (in another country)!

For all previous posters: You should NOT engage an employment agent to find a job in Singapore! They seldom help, often charge (illegal) fees and almost never find you good deals.

Instead, contact potential employers directly and apply for jobs there!

One company told me I can't get wp, bcz not eligible for work pass,

But they asking me for s pass, I'm confused bcz I don't have any diploma or degree certificate.

So how it possible?

Also asking me for fee now $500 after IPA $3000.

Is it possible

I have only

1. Building Construction Safety Supervisor certificat.

2. Building Construction Lifting Supervisor certificat.

3. Driving License Class 3

4. Employeement Certificate as Office Work at Hyundai engineering and Construction Singapore.

Please advise me

And: Any 鈥瀉gent鈥� charging you for work pass application is a cheat - there will be no visa and most likely there is also no job for you!

It is better to deal only with employers directly!

Nawab Shamin: if you have an 鈥歛dverse record鈥� all your work pass applications will be rejected. You need to remove the ban first. If you cannot manage to do that, better look for jobs on another country!

Believe me between 3 years over working in Singapore never face for any kind of penalty,

I can give u hundred percent gurenty.

I have submit Resignation later to my previous company because that Time my mother was Cancer patient that's why I'm resigned from work, so my previous company Hyundai make complain to mom? I'm not sure, because I got a Employeement Certificate from Hyundai.

I'm totally confused about that.

If my company make complain or not, how can I know, I can't have any idea for reject my IPA

You know you have an 鈥瀉dverse record鈥�, you have an idea why this is (previous employer鈥榮 complaint) and you have our advice in what to do about it. What more do you need?

the only alternative is moving to another country!

Actually my previous company don't want except my resignation latter because I'm tha who control marine site under construction of PSA gate 3 inside Joint Venture Project ( total 43 worker including some of local Crew Tug boat, Ferry boat ) they forcing me for continue work in there company, than I ask vacation for 2 month also don't want to accept.

I have to take leave because that time my mother was Cancer patient almost last stage, my mother passway in 15 may 2012 & Father also last 20 march 2020. I'm only earning source for my family, After Rejected my IPA in 2011 December. From 2012 I'm running Readymade Garments Shop Business in Bangladesh, but after pandamic situation covid-19 time shutdown business Long time & now Russian-Ukrain war, Business going down, I have loss lots of money, now days deficult to survive life, that's why now days try to get IPA.

I have complete some course in Singapore, like a safety supervisor, Lifting Supervisor & Class 3 Driving License. (Bukitbatok Driving Center)

Don't get any offer from another country.

This is the total history of my life

Note: previous company Hyundai give me Employeement Certificate.

I swear, I don't know what happened & what's the reason for Reject ipa.

Not: Few days ago I see mom website that

OSH TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD Ban from sg gov from End of 2010.

Is it any reason for Reject my ipa ?

Nawab: All this is immaterial to MoM, and they certainly don鈥檛 care how difficult your life is and why you want to work in Singapore.

They see you have an 鈥渁dverse record鈥� and will reject any work pass application for you (applying for an IPA alone is not possible!).

You really need to remove the ban first - or look for work in another country!

If I interpret your message correctly, you did not properly terminate your previous employment contract (or at least the employer thinks so). In that case the employer can lodge a complaint against you with MoM and this can lead to the ban or 鈥渁dverse record鈥�. So you should contact MoM to ask if and how the ban could be removed - and also clarify the issue with your ex-employer (after all, a contractual penalty might still be outstanding there!).
