Yes, slowly they will open up the border but it may takes several months to entire year 2021 if we want to see normalcy. At present, the border talk was to create a travel lane for business travellers from all countries.

I hope the vaccination starts as soon as possible. I think that is the only solution.

The Singapore Ministry of Manpower says it now has 鈥渕ore room鈥� to accommodate the entry of work pass holders to ease the manpower shortage, citing Singapore鈥檚 鈥渟table鈥� COVID-19 situation. I Just saw this article in CNA page.

I hope we qualify for the S pass then. I think my company applied this week for the S pass. I will post the outcome here.

Sadly my company gave 2 weeks ago on my case and they found a new candidate T_T.

I am so sorry. Our companies may give up also. There is no assurance we will get the visa yet. These are unprecedent times.
