I managed to get the job in Singapore recently .My company applied employment pass which got rejected and appealed which is also got rejected.
Initial reason for the rejection is - There are inconsistencies in the information provided
Appeal reason rejection is - This candidate is not eligible for a work pass. Please look for another candidate.
Got the job offer on 5th September 2023 and took almost two months for degree verification and eventually applied the employment pass
Time line
Applied - 6th Nov 2023
Requested additional documents on - 22nd Nov 2023
including company bank statement , Invoices , contracts and current employees salaries and justification for the salary from company side.
Rejected on - 27th Nov 2023
Appealed rejected on - 9th Dec 2023
As per my request company provided this below information after contacting the MOM for the two rejection reasons
Initial Rejection Reason
MOM mentioned it's due to the faculty - should be Science instead of Computer Science and your past role - should be Cybersecurity engineer instead of Network Engineer.
Appeal Rejected Reason
This time round my company HR called to ask for specific reason for the rejection, but they just reply you do not qualify.
Company is unable to appeal as there's no section to be changed as reason of rejection not identified.
for your information , I have history of refused entry in Singapore on 5th August 2023 as Immigration officer felt suspicious that i have been looking for a jobs . I contacted ICA on 2nd November 2023 before company applying the Employment pass and got this below reply

Applicants and Local Sponsors are to exercise due diligence when submitting the below-mentioned documents in Para 2.
Applications without Local Sponsors will not be considered nor processed.
Incomplete / Illegible submissions will result in a longer processing time.
2Â Â Â Â Â Â Â As with most countries, a visitor's entry into Singapore is neither a right nor automatic. If the Applicant wishes to enter Singapore, he/she is required to submit the following documents to this email for our assessment and consideration:-
A copy of Applicant’s passport with minimum 6 months remaining validity
A copy of Local Sponsor's Singapore NRIC (front and back face)
a.    Local Sponsors must be Singapore Citizens/Permanent Residents aged 21 years and above, or a Singapore-registered company;
b.    (If Singapore-registered company) To additionally provide company’s valid business registration certificate from the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA).
Form 14 (Application for Visit Pass)
a.    Downloaded from
b.    Applicants are to clearly state the reason(s) or purpose for entry, the duration of visit and declare ALL antecedents in detail on the application form;
c.    All fields must be duly completed;
d.    Do not submit the Form 14A (Application for Entry Visa).
Any other supporting documents to substantiate the reason(s) or purpose for entry
a.    For example: Passport History, Deed Poll/Certificate of Name Change, ROM Appointment, Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate, Divorce documents, Medical Memo, MOM-issued letter, etc. (note: this list is not exhaustive);
b.    To provide copies of original documents and official translations if the documents are not in English.
3Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Upon receipt of the above-mentioned documents in Para 2, we will process the application accordingly and notify the Local Sponsor of the outcome by email (typically within 8 weeks).

I thought based on this reply ,with IPA / MOM issued letter i can proceed with ICA for review along with other required information.
I shared all this information to my employer including ICA emailed reply before they applying my employment pass.
What is reason for the rejection now and what are the next steps to resolve this matter ?
