Notary fee for certification of ownership of a plot of land.

bitmonet

Greetings forum members,

With my Filipina wife six or seven years ago, we bought a 450 m2 plot of land. This plot of land is bequeathed to my wife and all the paperwork including the notary's certificate done 5 years ago.We built a house on this plot of land. Now we have bought 150 m2 which borders ours and we want to combine it at the notary.Yesterday my wife was at the notary and heard from him that it was a cost of 150,000 pesos. The total cost of these plots was about 300,000 pesos and there were 4 plots of 150 m2 each.As I have already written 450m2 is legally completed and it is a matter of attaching these last 150m2.Does anyone have experience of a similar issue. The price at this notary is absurd and I just think he is an immoral man.

Thank you and greetings to all forum members.

My name is Tim.  My wife and I recently purchased a home and I as well was taken back by the cost of notary.  Our sale amount was quite a bit heavier than yours.  The fee of your notary is excessive.  I can get you in touch with my Lawyer, who's fee is based on the purchase amount.
