@Carlo_01927  Hello Carlo, my husband and I with my 14year old granddaughter are considering moving there we are retired but the red tape just seems too much for us to deal with, we do have family there but they want us to move there but they are providing no help at all as to where to start.

Hi. I ‘m sorry to hear that. I would suggest you visit Philippines as your first step and stay here for a period of time before you decide if you really want to move or retire here for you to be able to learn and experience things first hand and then we move to the next step.

Hope this help

@Carlo_01927  Yes it did, and we are planning to visit next year

Hi. Experience first Philippines then you decide if you really want to retire here and be ready to get all those requirements, go under registrations and all the paperworks. This is not to discourage you but just setting your expectations on what has to be done 🙂

I can recommend the best VISA agency in Cebu-City. Run by the former head of the PRA here so he is best connected, that's a plus in case you have a more difficult visa case.

If you like the address just PM me.

Hi Carlo. Hope you are well.

I am a 75 year old man born in and living in  canada. I have been married for 30 years to a philippina, born in the philippines but holding dual citizenship with canada and philippines. Within the next five months we will be  moving to the philippines. My wife already has a house and sugar cane farm in the philippins. I plan on entering the philippines under the balikbayan privledge. I know thats good for a year. But since I intend on retiring in the philippines and never returning to canada, while I remain there for a year under balikbayan privledge, I intend on applying for either a 13 a visa through mariage or a classic srrv visa.

Once I arrive in the philippines through the balikbayan privledge, I will contact you for advise and assistance with the 13a or ssrv. I will happily pay for your services. But for now could you please tell me the documents I must bring with me to the philippines, so I will be able to apply for the 13a or ssrv. And which I should get apostilled.

Thank you so very much for any assistance you provide.
