I am willing to spend 4k to 5k RM monthly.

For 4-5K/month, you will have plenty of options within city area. Where is yr office location?

Office is in Petaling Jaya but I am required to stay in KL. I will need to go to office twice a month only (mostly I will be working from my residence). This is why it is very important for me to make the right selection about the location as I will have a lot of time on my hands.

Berjaya Times Square has service apartments and plenty to do!

PJ is better value for money though. Otherwise I'm not up on service apartments. You should look at maybe a month in the above, and then look around

There isn't much around right now.  But Crown Regency, close to KLCC is quite inexpensive.  Also, Ascott is nice, but a but more expensive.
