Yes it's important to know if she is a Malay (Muslim) or a Chinese or Hindu or whatever. For Muslims to get married in Malaysia is more complicated than other religions. Assume she is not a Muslim though?

She is not a muslim & the reason for marriage is obviously love.

I believe the 鈥榦fficial鈥� if you wish to call it that, would be in Ireland & the second wedding in Malaysia is most likely for a traditional wedding in regards to having a celebration closer to home for the rest of her family.
