flat/share mates in KL

rax7

Hi mateS,

Would you know anyone who's looking for a flat/share mate in KL preferable near the airport? I'll be based in Malaysia in two months time and gonna work there as a cabin crew. Thanks.

Regards,
Shido

Hi Shido,

Welcome to ½ûÂþÌìÌà :)

Your post is now on the Kuala Lumpur Forum for better interaction :)

I suggest you post an advert in the Flat share in Kuala Lumpur section please as it might help :)

Thank you

Shido, I don't think even Cabin Crew stay near the airport. I think you will find they either catch a taxi or a train to more interesting areas. Seremban is reasonably close though. If you want international interaction it will mean choosing somewhere towards KL. ibilik is a flatshare website.

Hi max and gravitas,

thank you for replying. My training will start next month until Feb and will be provided accommodation. After that, I will have to move in to a new apartment.

I believe you have to be active on the forum to activate your PM.  Report your own post to get a response.  I was not aware of this until recently, but I don't know the metrics on how long or how many posts it takes.

There is a lot of accommodation 'near' the airport for workers. One of them might help. These are government made places. Many in Enstek. As you are only here for 2 months surely your company can help or ask fellow workers?

Hi, I'll train for two months and will be provided accommodation and will need to move in on my own after that. My initial contract is 2 years.

Then that is easy. You come and ask fellow workers in your first week. They will know best especially transport/location.

Cabin crew are away so much anyway. A friends works as a cabin crew for Korean airlines. She is mostly in a hotel!

Thanks. I'll be based in KL since the that's the flagship of our carrier. We were hired from abroad and hence, most my my batchmates are new to Malaysia too. In addition, I'd prefer to live with other expats who dont work for the same company.
