Possible to get multiple live-in housemaids?

SingularitySoon

I have several small children and need 3-5 housemaids to stay-in. I found out that in Malaysia this is highly restricted; in my country, you just hire whoever you want. Of course if you are sponsoring a visa, all kinds of stuff is required but do if hiring locally do you also have to follow a list of regulations regarding hiring housemaids? I guess this has to do with morality laws?

You want 5 maids? How many children do you have? Good grief, my grandparents had 3 daughters and ran a busy farm in the UK without any maids.

What about me? I just find your post to be very strange!

Personally I have never heard of multi-maids except in the Prime Ministers house. Im trying to help here and its not my business why you feel this need.

Moral questions come in when a single person is trying to get even one maid and to my knowledge it would be denied. There was a time, me single and working out of the house 20 hours a day, 7 days a week, I could have fantastically benefitted from a maid-cook but they wouldnt let me.

Since I am not aware of any specific law forbidding multi-maids, I would contact a maid recruiter and explain your needs. You can google job recruiters, maid services, etc. You can also talk to your neighbors with maids and see what theyd like to do to help you. If it were me, id just call a maid service and tell them, "send five, please" and if there a problem you'll sure hear it fast.
