pets in Astana

I am thinking of moving to Astana to work.聽 Can any one give me any info on how i would go about bring my cat with me and if it is possible to buy cat food and cat litter in Astana.聽 She is an indoor cat who never goes outside so I would need a regular supply of cat litter!!

Cat litter - there are many supermarkets and pet shops that sell these. The sandy type (clumping and non clumping), the crystal type and also the "magic balls" type.
Cat food - see above. Whiskas, kitekat and some Russian brands.
Paperwork required - no idea, sorry, our cat came from the in-laws.

I have heard that it is hard to find vets here because they aren't well advertised, but I agree with Silently Screaming: cat food, kitty litter, cat toys even are easy to find in any supermarket.
