Medical care in Surabaya

bakso_tusuk

Hi all!
I've been living in Jogja for 2,5 years already and unfortunately can't say much good about local hospitals. Doctors usually just listen to your own assumptions and prescribe some more or less random pills according to the idea they've got without much tests or even questions to ask.
I got some reasons to think that situation in Surabaya might be slightly different. So if anyone have any good experience about of this city... To be more precisely I need a pulmonologist for some serious consultation to help me to figure out the details of my exact problem not just to give another prescription according to keywords that I utter.

Have you ever thought of going to Malaysia for affordable but better medical care? I could recommend Penang in particular as a medical tourism destination.

If money is no object than fly to Singapore or even Australia.

I presume you don't regard your problem as an emergency.

Try premiere hospital at Ngingden. Modern and easy to book appointments. Good hotels in area at reasonable prices within 10 minutes drive. As an expat I regularly go there for ailments and they are great with kids. All credit cards catered for as expat. Most specialists are bi-lingual if your bahasa is average 😊
