Bali , beer no problem , grocery shopping no issue , my favorite snorkeling beach nearby open , jogging in the nearby forest , so ya my life is unaffected .

Social distancing for us is the norm at the moment ,it will take a long  time for indonesia to be fully vaccinated , because of population density java is to be avoided Imho .

We are fully vaccinated ,unfortunately with sinovac , which has a low rate of efficacy. so ya we have to be careful ,but better than "nowt" .

You believe what you wish ,I will continue to social distance and wear a mask .

I have an inferior vaccine , but for the moment it offers some protection , im sure a booster will be along in a few months ,hopefully not from china or russia .

My wife and myself both had the Sinovac vaccines. Afterwards we both came down with Covid-19, it was not mild, we were both bed ridden for two weeks with very high temperatures.

It's questionable if we are both now immunized from getting Covid-19 again.

We would reluctantly take the second dose of Sinovac if it was available. The distribution chain is really a mess here in the Philippines. The vaccine centers are not consistent in what they are using. Where we got the Sinovac vaccine they are now using Pfizer.

Hi.
Take this for what it's worth, but the medical community (physicians, nurses, etc) widely reject the Sinovac and Sinofarm vaccines.  I am a retired PhD (Psychologist) and have professional & personal relationships with some excellent, highly trained physicians (Indonesian and Western) in Jakarta. They have, to the last one told me to stay away from the above mentioned vaccines. My own physician, close to the MOH, recommended AZ, Pfizer or Moderna. Driving factor? **"20 fully-vaccinated physicians*** died after becoming infected with Covid-19.
This was covered in the news as were other country's negative experiences with Chinese vaxx. (See Mongolia & others for further info).

So, my recommendation would be to go to a complete 2 shot cycle with one of the western vaxx. It's my opinion, though. I am not a licensed physician. Best regards.

I was under the understanding or misunderstanding that the Sinovac is a different technology than the other vacs and you shouldn't mix them.

I don't know if it possible to switch vaxx's as they have a record of what we received. I would like to switch vaxx's, but here in the Philippines there is no consistent supply of one vaxx manufacture.

There has been so many flip flops that it really has muddied the waters on how to make an informed decision.
