I guess many Expats face problems outside of their own countries. Some though do pretty well. What about you?
As far as me I work online as a translator. Since I lived 12 years in the USA I started giving private classes for English in Jakarta, in the area of Kelapa Gading. Also I give classes of Brazilian Portuguese. And I was impressed that my first student was exactly looking for Portuguese classes.... hehe

Hi Armand,

I think that one of the things we face at first is the cultural shock... Language, eating habits, costumes. Afterwards comes missing your regular habits... For me started like that.

I am here since January 2011.
I am in the Boulevard, Close to WGP.
More or less a km South of Mall Kelapa Gading.

I like Michel telo, ai se eu te pego is his song and whether the song is in Portuguese language?

Since I heard this song, I want to learn the language, not because of Michel Telo LOL
But I only know two simply words, like "feliz dia dos' and "como vai"

Correct me if am wrong

I went to Bali last month and I was having dinner in Jimbaran. There was a group of musicians playing to entertain the people eating. When I asked them to play a Brazilian song that is exactly what they played... Michel Tel贸... hehe... I have the v铆deo recorded...
