Malls, of which there are many, can be easily spotted by the inevitable traffic jam in the the environs. sadly, the evening ends at 11, which can get in the way of a good blues jam, but, thankfully, music and alcohol are now permitted to date and there are many, easily accessible, (for the most part), bars and clubs with bands and musical styles for all tastes. All in all B'luru is not a difficult place for a stranger to be in.

Hi, We just returned from a short trip to Bangalore. For shopping consider Gandhi Nagar near Majestic and MG Road and it's cross lanes. We used ITDC for city site seeing and Mysore. Reliable and safe if you are single female traveler. Bangalore is expanding in all directions with huge construction activities. Also visit City Market, Avenue Road, Chickpet for buying textiles, jewellary etc. Don't forget to bargain hard.
