The best way to ship electric scooters to Australia?

Hi all,

I bought an electric scooter that I need to ship to Melbourne Australia.

What is the best affordable way to ship it considering it has lithium battery and most of the carriers won't accept it?

As a suggestion, is the battery available to buy in Oz. If so then just ship the scooter minus the battery.

First option is sea freight
Or you might check (EK) Emirates airlines to fly via DUbai. I think they can carry batteries included.

contact a freight forwarder. Ship your bike ex-works. It will then be shipped in a storage container with goods of others. You will be responsible for loading it and unloading it. Make sure you fill out the Australian customs declaration from the freight forwarder. You will not need to pay any tariffs.
