Thanks a lot Yud, it was informative,

Do you mean to say 800 USD is enough amount to meet monthly living epenses ?

Jacqui88

It's enough if you live like a normal chinese family... It would be enough to live and be OK.. not enough to live extravagantly or travel or do anything like that! Not sure about the cost of schooling for children though....

Hi Kolkata,

The normal Chinse people's salary is below 10,000 CNY.

For most people, they can spend just 2,000CNY a month and they live ok. So less than 400USD is ok for living. But if you want better life, then all depends.

smallsun

Hi again, the less than 2,000CNY for a month also including rent a house, single room.

So you have accomodation, I guess it should be ok for you living in China.

Hi, I was just offered $570.00 US dollars monthly to Teach in Dalian, China. With Just accommodations paid. I'd say you have an excellent offer and will be able to save plenty of money. I have learned from my friend that you can live off of a minimum $400, bare essentials.

for GZ normal salary about 5000RMB

Education and health are two things you should consider.

Education, the anual tuition fee is arround 8000-10000 USD in American school.

Health, no free public hospital, the bigger and better the hospital is, the higher price!
