Ugly incident at Shin Kong high end store

ptl

I am wondering if anyone would be interested in publishing a story of a recent ugly event that took place in Shin Kong Place. Just to give you a gist: the event took place at the indoor playground area on the 5th floor of Shin Kong place.  My 4-year old  girl (we're foreigners) happened to push a local Chinese kid who then fell into a pool of balls.  The mother and the grandmother of the local kid started shouting at the top of their voices at my kid and later started verbally attacking my innocent foreign friends and I.

The staff at Shin Kong place did not do anything to stop the other mom and grandmother from continuing their very loud shouting . In fact, they treated us like criminals and refuse to let us leave the dept store, siding with the Chinese lady who later asked for money.  The guards and men in uniform followed us everywhere and insisted we cannot leave and one of them even held the arms of my innocent foreign friend insisting we cannot leave.  They even began to say things like " these foreigners...., we Chinese....."  You get the picture. There was a crowd all around us like we were criminals.

This is absolute infuriating especially how the Shin Kong staff treated my innocent friends who were shocked at the local Chinese behaviors and the unprofessionalism of a so called high end department store.

I was hoping newspapers and other relevant publication will publish this story and let readers have a glimpse of the reality of mannerisms here, even in a supposedly high end shopping center.

If you are interested in the full story and details for publishing, please email me.

I would be interested in hearing the other side of the story, usually one-sided details of an event are rarely the truth, no disrespect intended.  As far as the shouting from Chinese, um you should  be used to that if you have spent any time in China haha.  I mean, just people having a usual conversation sounds like they are fighting.  I'm a "foreigner"  in China also if that makes any difference.
