Wow, glad to see so many new faces. Weifang is pretty international since the 90s, because it hosts annual kite festival that attracts many foreign visitors. Very hospitable, spacious place to live. So far, I haven't found much decent expat group there. So I am organizing a new community group on wechat for expats living in Weifang Shandong. I live in Qingdao, Weifang is basically a normal city in China, they are proud of their kite culture, they even have a annual kite festival. This city also has a famous and big diesel generator manufacturer. If you can speak standard Mandarin, you will be great there. Good luck.
