Is Sarawak MM2H the best retirement program in Southeast Asia?

aramazmm2h

It probably is, if you are at least 50 years old and receive a monthly pension equivalent to RM7000 for an individual or RM10,000 for a couple.

Those under this category are eligible to apply for the Sarawak MM2H (S-MM2H) pass without the need to place a fixed deposit or purchase a property. Flexible and no heavy investments normally associated with other retirement programs.

Successful applicants are granted multiple-entry social visit pass for a period of 10 years and this is renewable.

Sarawak - Borneo’s best kept secret, is often overlooked as a retirement destination compared to other places in Malaysia such as Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Sabah.
By no means Sarawak is less attractive a retirement destination, if you prefer a more laid-back lifestyle. The 2 biggest cities in Sarawak, Kuching and Miri, offer high quality of living and good healthcare facilities at very affordable costs. Both cities are clean, safe and easy to live in.

The Sarawak MM2H (S-MM2H) pass allows you to stay anywhere in Sarawak and West Malaysia, with the condition to fulfill a minimum stay of 15 days in Sarawak yearly.

This program could be your best solution if you are planning to retire abroad, especially in Southeast Asia.

Are the SMM2H rules unchanged since the Federal Government announced huge changes which if applied to Sarawak would make it really unattractive?
