Questions about a FIRST TIME Expat

JShahroozi29

Hi Everyone,

My name is John and I joined this community a few days ago. I live in Columbus, OH in the USA. I am 29 yrs old, I do not have a Degree although I do have a High School Diploma. I very very badly want to travel to places in Asia and try to stay for atleast 2 years or so. I have never been but I am not too worried about the so called "culture shock". I have began to research how to get a job in China and Thailand as an expat and it seemed to lead me to becoming a TESOL or TEFL certified teacher first, then applying for my VISA. I have learned that a work Z Visa i sprobably not in the cards for me as to get one would require me to have a BA or make some fictitious documents, which I am not willing to do. So as an alternative I have learned that a business VISA is a 6 month VISA that can be renewed. Although I think that another business in China has to provide a letter of intent and if I am not Legally allowed to work in China on a business Visa then I can foresee some issues.

My questions are, Which countries over there have the best way of treating americans?
Which countries are easier to get Working VISAs in without a degree?
Which countries do My Money go farther in?
What is my best route to be there long term like 1-2 years?
What are the best jobs to look for there without a degree?
Does any Chinese woman want to get married? <--------that's a joke lol
