Looking to relocate from Oz

Hi all,

I've been toying with the idea of relocating to Tanzania and I'm now trying to make this dream a reality.

I am British citizen and have been living and working in Sydney Australia for the past 4 years.

I have over 5 years experience specialising in digital media and would relish the opportunity to discuss any relevant media or marketing opportunities.

I understand there might be strong British expat community in Tanzania so that might be a good place to start.

Any info, or just a chat would be great!

Hi there

Working in that industry in sydney you would be earning well - hope you arent expecting the same here.聽 I come from the advertising industry in sydney also - if you enjoy 30% tax, visa issues, ever changing laws then come on over.聽 My advice - come for a holiday only and leave with good memories rather than getting caught in this rut. This is where you come to kill your career in marketing/advertising unless you are keen to work in tourism as a marketing manager in which case i suggest you keep an eye on

gypsytravels has offered you some good advice. Digital media is not a good industry to be in anywhere in Africa, and add to the equation visa and tax hassles it's not worth it.

Have you thought of starting something online and perhaps working out of an Asian country. Cambodia is easy visa wise and may be worth a look.
