You should start by saying that Expats in SA to buy a house need to have cash, besides some agents are asking for documents like at least a 2 year approved visa, proof of address at least from 6 months ago, etc, etc...I thought it was going to be easier to invest in a house, but they have manage to make it virtually impossible, I've been in the country for 4 months and need to wait at least 4 months to even think about it...
