The jobs that are the most in-demand for expats in Morocco

Priscilla

Hello,

We invite you to share some information regarding the job market for expats in Morocco. This information will be incredibly helpful to anyone considering moving there, so we're very grateful for your contribution.

What are the types of jobs that are easily accessible to expats in Morocco?

What are the ones most in-demand for expats?

Which industry and/or jobs have limited workforce?

Are there any existing surveys, data, or reports done regarding this topic?

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Priscilla

Hello Prescilla,
An expat brings their own money or comes with a job from their own country. An Immigrants moves abroad looking for work. You should post this request on an immigrant website or else ask expats if they offer jobs to immigrants.

Respectfully,
Kelli

and of course if you have money you could start your own business in different fields

Morocco has set on an ambitious plan to make itself a hub of financial activities for the rest of the African continent , basically a Dubai of Africa.
Casablanca finance city, Tangier-Med are part of this ambitious plan. But Morocco frankly lacks the talent pool of Dubai hence it would need to develop this pool from within itself. Moroccan Education, banking and tech systems are not at par with the rest of the world, too many service charges for slow and scant services. This has to change in order to bring in more capital from abroad. It needs to hire a lot of bilingual and English speaking workforce to deal with this more effectively.

I can see job growth for bilingual English speakers in the sectors of education, banking, logistics, transport , software development and tech.
My two cents
