The Premium Visa aims at encouraging foreign nationals willing to come for a long stay as a tourist, retiree or a professional with his/her family and carry out his/her business or work remotely from Mauritius, in a COVID-safe destination.

It allows a non-citizen to stay in Mauritius for a period of one year, renewable.

Well, you need to show proof of sufficient funds (for example bank account statement)聽聽travel insurance, health insurance, accommodation (it comes with a cost) however no fee is required to process the visa itself.

But if you marry a Mauritian then you dont need health insurance and accommodation as you get it free at government hospitals.
