Estate Agent / Property Regulations Board (Mauritius)

coco_

Hi there

New to the forum!

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a regulatory board for property estate agents in Mauritius?

We are dealing with an estate agent in Mauritius and it's a nightmare. Is there a board to complain to / get advice when things are going wrong?

Thanks in advance

FYI, there is a regulatory body called the estate Agents Association.

if you are having issues related to real estate, etc, you can contact them. Of, if you wish, you can take hire a lawyer and take matters to court.

Many avenues to get help from.

Hello

If dealing with this agent isa nightmare (why?)
Take an other agent.

There is no regulator for Estate Agents in Mauritius. This sector is unregulated.

What really matters is professionalism not regulations.
France f.i is high'y regulated and still a mess...
Too many regulations do not always make   things better.
There are professionals. And like everywhere else there are unprofessional people.
Use the first.
