Hi, have been looking at rental properties. Most seem furnished.聽 In the price bracket I would prefer eith furniture I don't fancy. Is is uncommon to get unfurnished houses for expats?

I would say there are unfurnished rentals for expats on the market but they are very hard to find.
Furnished properties definitely bring in better deals and more money for owners targeting the expat market.

We have been able to get an unfurnished house by bidding on furnished ones and asking if owners where open to taking the furnitures away.

It worked for one of the bids but don鈥檛 expect a discount on rental price as owners will probably put the furnitures in paid storage (at least that鈥檚 what happened for us).
