Guess you must be new to an IBB or Blog or social media.
It is not a Fake Name but a Handle - some people like聽 their PRIVACY and ANONYMITY even as Expats.
Thus they post with a handle.

This is NOT Facebook or Twitter聽 ( where even then you may use a handle) but as forum聽 where there is exchange of ideas or requests for ideas and where no one wants to be tracked by those who come on the forum just to propose聽 unsollicited/or unrelated聽 offerings.
