Hi there, I'm Singaporean introspectively debating whether it is a good idea to migrate and live in Mauritius. Read so much about it on the internet. I actually wish to retire and live in a peaceful place with surrounded by Nature!聽 Is there anyone I can talk to. I'm in Singapore now and will be visiting Mauritius next year.

Compared with Singapore, Mauritius has backward infrastructure, basically no entertainment venues, simple natural scenery, high indoor temperatures in summer, and early dark in winter with almost no street lights, making outdoor activities almost impossible after sunset.
