Hello Julius..welcome to mauritius..there are nearby houses in Reduit but you will have to check them first before booking..try airbnb for a month or couchsurfing as a free alternative to paying rent till you find one which would be the best fit.

Ideally if you find one in quatrebornes or rosehill, itll be easier for you as the metro would be only 5minutes from the University Campus.

Hello and welcome, I think the University should be able to guide you. Try asking them. They should have an onboarding program for new international students

The only one I have is in The North (Trou-aux-Biches) near the beach, so not very convenient for you.
