Hi everyone! I would like to get a custom bookshelf and tv unit made and was wondering if anyone knows of any good carpenters with reasonable prices. I live in Flic en Flac.

Hi,

I'm also in need of a carpenter. I have 3 quotes for install custom made (in China) kitchen cabinet and doors. The door frames needed to be cut but the kitchen cabinet is easy like Legos. First quote Rs20,000 (just the kitchen cabinet), second quote Rs15,000, third quote Rs7,500. The carpenter (3rd one) will come tomorrow to do the installation.

First quote is crazy for sure. The second quote is referred by someone who also had her bookshelf custom made under the stairs, which she is happy about it. The third one was referred by a friend. I'm not sure if he is good when you need something custom made here.

PM me if you need his contact. But don't blame me if he is not up to your standard. I notice that many locals hesitate to give referrals to others, mostly because when something bad happens, fingers start to point. Especially many locals have bad habit of no show, no call when they are not coming to work.
