Anyone have news or insight from other users in the Jamahiriya as to youtube access?

use vtunnel.com so u can evade any restrictions

I am from Libya, it works with me, I use google chrome.

I would suggest you download and use Firefox from here - It is faster than IE and much more reliable. As for the access to Youtube is this from work or from your home ?. If it is from work then I would suggest your IT department have blocked it, as streaming video eats up bandwidth like nothing on earth.

Just tried it with Mozilla and Chrome the only way arround it is vtunnel.com or something along the lines of it. I believe it has been blocked. I use wimax, and no luck.

I know at the office we have a connection via dish through italy and I dont have any problem with this system.

The IT guy at my office told me that LTT blocks U Tube purely because is sucks up so much bandwidth. There are plenty of political content or sex sites which are still accessible (apparently ), suggesting that bandwidth and not content is their issue.

Just go into your network connections and tcp/ip properties and change ur alternate address:

hey guys.. i got same problem too. i want youtube.. is there any way to log in with normal youtube display ? Because ktunnel is a wierd site, cookies are everywhere and there is no preview for videos, i need youtube too much. please help.

It is blocked on political grounds. and the LTT general manager was fired from his position because he couldn't block youtube permanently.

Just go there, click at any proxy site and in new opened site type youtube URL..i hope this helpss

You don't need proxy sites if you change the settings as described.

or download cyberghost VPN free version..just if you know how to hide it in school PC lol
