Hi,

Can anybody advice regarding housemaids / domestic helpers in Ethiopia?

Do they live in?
Do they speak English?
Are Muslim housemaids available?
How much does it cost to have a housemaid?

Hi Sousoudodi,

Many housemaids live in. And some speak conversational English. Those who speak some English are relatively expensisve. But still their salary is cheap by any country's standards. A very rough estimate goes like 700 to 1,000 Birr a month, for those who can barely communicate in English.
