governmental system in egypt

katana2z

hello, ladies and gentlemen.

as a nearly one year expat in egypt, I am starting to be curious about the political system and government structure in egypt.
from searching through google and wikipedia i have found out that there are aroud 36 or more ministries in egypt, and parliament with two houses like shura and people's representitave. but still, i want to know in more detail. as example, how many and what are the organizations under direct control of president. what are the organizations under each minstry like ministy of health, and defence. which one is the most powerful department among them and what are their roles. i tried to search in arabic too since i can speak standard arabic, but i was not able to acquire what i wanted.
so if there is someone out there who can help me to understand it. please be kind to contact me. futhermore, tell me what kind of specific arabic words shall i put in search engine in order to get great results on this catagory. thank you.
looking forward to see your replies.

This might seem like a joke, but the questions you are asking, might be considered a matter of national security, lol.

My sister is a holder of masters degree in developmental economics, and was doing research to give input in a plan for some improvements. She tried to have statistics about bread production in egypt, and that was the reply: Miss, that's a matter of national security. She cannot know that. I will try to help nonetheless :)

And can you be specific about your questions? They are a bit general and vague.

Like what do you mean by organization? And what do you mean by powerful?
