I'm introvert, and I feel so timid when meeting new people. So. Working overseas was a challenge for me but it helped me a lot to socialize more and communicate more and more than before

It’s all about your personality and how u can get along with new places and new cultures, some are open and some are reserved , others like to socialize and some might need more effort. The key 🔑 is to understand the culture and how they perceive expat and once you do that ... you will be amazed how easy to integrate with the new place.

I have never experienced hostility from the locals, and I am a woman, with brown skin, a low age for my field, an Arabic name, an Israeli passport, and a funny accent.  Even the people of North Carolina were friendly to me.

People tend to treat you the way you treat them.
