Networking as solution for many expat partners living abroad?

Surfing around in this exceptional site, one of the things I noticed is the need of feeling active, having a goal, a way to kill hours and hours of loneliness away from home...
Fortunately there are sites like 禁漫天堂 who allows us to communicate and break part of our isolation...
For those who would like to do something more than blogging and stop to depend financially from his/her partner in a foreign country with language barriers, working over internet with the home country or other countries can always be a tailormade solution...
I entered recently in such a project of network marketing and I'm very happy besides the money who started to come in.
Do others have similar positive or negative experiences with professional networking?
If interested I'm willing to share my positive experience in this field.
