Oops, I did something stupid? Visa whoops by iflyhigh

So today was the last day that my 3 month multiple entry was valid. I got it to a travel agent here in Phu My Hung this morning to renew it. She said it wouldn't be a problem, though I should have done it yesterday. Unfortunately I got delayed ...

ATMs in HCMC. Any where I can get more than 2M dong? by Nam_

There is a new regulation that is limiting withdrawals to 2 million dong. Depends on if the bank is State owned or not. Citibank, I was told by a Citibank Vietnam employee, is 2 million dong PER DAY. If you are a Citigold (US) customer, you can ... Read More

Visa situation after Jan. 1, 2013 by ssuprnova

Hi everyone, A friend of mine is thinking of relocating to Vietnam so I want to get some up-to-date information. Since Jan. 1, 2013 the visa policy changed so that visitors coming on a pre-approved visa would only get a C1 tourist visa that is ...

You don't make any sense, of course the Phnom Penh and Australian embassies work differently, they have different visa and immigration agreements with the two different countries. Why would different consulate/embassies in the same country have ... Read More

You're wrong about the six month visa. They give them out at every consulate in the US for tourists. You need an itinerary though, which you don't need for the three month one. Read More

I'm not sure what you guys are talking about. I have a 3 month multiple entry tourist visa. A six month one is available as well. Maybe it's only for US citizens though, I don't know. I also got my visa from the consulate in NYC, not on ... Read More

Visa question for visiting US with my Vietnamese wife by VungTauDon

You should call/visit the consulate asap and ask them directly. She should be able to get a tourist visa, though you should start the other paperwork anyways, even if you don't intend to go back to the US. If she gets a green card, then you ... Read More
