Plannning ahead and looking at SW France by Genmartok
I’m a few years out from retirement and I’m looking for a town on a rail line with good medical service in SW France. Where do you live and why would I like it?

I have been living in France for last three years on a VLS-T (Long Stay Visa -tourist) renewing it each year from France. I get a new carte de séjour each time good for a year. Does that count towards 5 years permanently residing in France?
