Renting, how? by Daniel_T

Can, with only a U.S. passport, I lawfully rent an apartment in Honduras? Or, are those who visit frequently for ninety days at a time limited to hotels? Regards, Daniel

RichardNola

Hey Daniel_T, yeah I don't think there would be a problem with that, leasing there isn't very difficult as long as you pay on time. My villa in Tela won't be finished until another 10 months from now I think, where are you looking to go? ... Read More

HonduranDean, hey man, I'm no rich guy moving into Tela at all... I sense a lot of prejudice on your side, and my point of view on the matter is that this actually makes it cheap enough for Hondurans to buy by what the prices they have, unlike ... Read More

How long do you stay in Honduras before returning to Canada or the USA by Nelson84

I was wondering do you go for a month or 6 months at a time? Just curious how much time you spend each year in Honduras?

RichardNola

Hey Nelson84, you have to leave the country every 3 months and have to be out of the country for at least 48 hours. Buuuuut, you can renew for another 3 months and extend it, if you go to an immigration office in any of the big cities. So that ... Read More
