Position Summary:

We are currently looking for a Translator, who will utilize their strong interpersonal and organizational skills in a head office based role. This role will provide reception coverage as well as day to day administrative support to one of our top Office including but not limited to Hotel Managers, New Business and Human Resources.

Main duties of this role:

General office duties.

Retain and develop knowledge on specialist areas of translation.

Provide quotations for translation services offered.

Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter or similar role

Use appropriate software for presentation and delivery.

Research legal, technical and scientific phraseology to find the correct translation.

Make cultural or linguistic changes to the text as necessary.

Liaise with clients to discuss any unclear points.

Proofread and edit final translated versions.

Consult with experts in specialist areas.

Requirement:

Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter or similar role.

Fluency in at least two languages in addition to your native language.

Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors.

Good knowledge of content editing tools.

Familiarity with translation software.

Time-management skills.

Education & Experience:

Not less than 1 years working experience.

Proven experience working in a fast-paced Administration/Reception role.

High attention to detail.

Analytical & problem solving skills.

Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills.
