Key Responsibilities:
IT Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve productivity and efficiency.
Infrastructure Management
Oversee the installation and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
Ensure network security, data integrity, and IT infrastructure availability.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and manage the IT staff (technicians, system admins, developers).
Assign tasks, set goals, and conduct performance evaluations.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
Implement and enforce IT security protocols to protect sensitive data.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Support & Troubleshooting
Supervise helpdesk operations and ensure timely support for end-users.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues.
Budgeting & Vendor Management
Manage IT budgets and cost control.
Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with software and hardware vendors.
Project Management
Plan and execute IT projects (e.g., software implementation, system upgrades).
Monitor project timelines, resources, and outcomes.
