the thing about part-time jobs is that they do not legally exist in Kuwait per se; once u hit the age of 21 u can no longer be a dependent on your fathers visa, hence, u need a sponsor, to get a sponsor, u need to work for them, to work for them, u need a contract, and then the whole mess at the ministry with the residency enters into play.

part-time workers are not given residency, as far as i can recall. so, unless you already have a job and are looking to augment your salary by getting a second one, it is mostly on the "down-low", as part time jobs here would not have contracts, coz like we said above, u need to be on a companys sponsorship to work for it - if the sho'oun were to inspect the workplace for example, and find someone working there who was not under the comapnys sponsorship (ie a part-time worker) then they would levy penalties on the company.

that being said, it is commonly practiced. if u do not have a problem with residency, u will need to find a friend who knows someone in need of a part-time gig i.e. salesman or accountant or wahtever fits your fancy.

Google part-time jobs in kuwait and see what comes up.

i googled several times,came up with nothing and last gave up.Isnt it that the sponsorship mess ended in February .

I succeeded to have a contract as an English teacher in Kuwaiti public schools. since the working hours are from 7/30AM to 13/30 pm, I want to work in the afternoon . any one to tell me how to find a part time job .

dont forget to check the newspaper and the al waseet paper.

also check the ,they have new jobs posted everyday.
