聭Taxes聮 On Money Transfer Expected
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 14: The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) is looking at the possibility of imposing taxes on the money transfers of expatriates living in Kuwait through a mechanism that will be implemented in local banks, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources.

Sources explained the tax will depend on the amount transferred, indicating the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and some other countries in the region have already taken a similar step.

It's about time, Kuwait loses money when salaries are wired out of country so they should follow KSA and UAE, they are always 10 steps behind anyways.
